In the private sector, we worked with our client to created an energy transition and carbon solutions business backed by private equity.
We structured, negotiated and advanced material energy transition investments, particularly in the low-carbon power generation and fuels sectors.
Activities Undertaken:
We were hands-on with corporate structuring for new entities and investments.
We created and negotiated commercial terms (ongoing) for all aspects of platform and project development, including investment terms, shareholder and governance arrangements, long-term power or other product sales, input supplies, site acquisition, engineering, capital structuring, financing alternatives, permitting, major equipment supplier arrangements, government and regulatory affairs.
We ensured corporate governance requirements were embedded in new processes when standing-up new entities.
Goals Achieved:
Our solutions involved originating, diligencing, and structuring multiple discrete projects, each with project cost in the range of US$400 million – US$1 billion.
